A rush of sounds, scents, and steam.
This handmade linoprint brings a moment inside a busy dim sum restaurant. The air is filled with the clatter of plates, voices overlapping, the scent of hot tea and freshly steamed buns. At the back of the room, a small table becomes a gathering place. The menu is not on paper but in the endless trays rolling by, each bite a small delight.
A lady pushes a cart of frozen shrimp into the kitchen. The conversation flows, laughter rises, another round of dumplings arrives.

The printmaking process
This linoprint is created through a meticulous three-step handmade process:
- Sketching: Each illustration starts as a hand-drawn design
- Engraving: The image is carefully carved into a linoleum plate
- Printing: Ink is applied, and the design is hand-pressed onto paper
Because of this handmade process, slight variations and ink marks on the back of the paper are normal, making every piece one of a kind.
