A quiet corner of the city that feels like home.
Greenpoint is my neighborhood, a place that has become very dear to me. It’s calm, full of good energy, and wrapped in the perfect mix of city and nature. This handmade three-color linoprint captures a view from the river, where the iconic Greenpoint water tower stands tall above the rooftops. A residential building sits nearby, tucked into rich foliage that makes the whole scene feel almost like a jungle.
Touches of yellow gouache bring warmth—fruits hanging from the trees, the soft glow of the sun—small details that make Greenpoint feel alive.

The printmaking process
This linoprint is created through a meticulous three-step handmade process:
- Sketching: Each illustration starts as a hand-drawn design
- Engraving: The image is carefully carved into a linoleum plate
- Printing: Ink is applied, and the design is hand-pressed onto paper
Because of this handmade process, slight variations and ink marks on the back of the paper are normal, making every piece one of a kind.
