This handmade monochrome linoprint shows La Tour Isabelle, a striking natural arch nestled in the French Alps. It’s the kind of place that feels quietly grand, a narrow path winding through wildflowers and silence, until the trail opens onto this high stone window carved by time.
This piece was a commission from a friend who used to hike there often. The view through the rock feels almost unreal, framing the sky like a painting. It's one of those places where the mountain breathes, and the wind carries stories.

The printmaking process
This linoprint is created through a meticulous three-step handmade process:
- Sketching: Each illustration starts as a hand-drawn design
- Engraving: The image is carefully carved into a linoleum plate
- Printing: Ink is applied, and the design is hand-pressed onto paper
Because of this handmade process, slight variations and ink marks on the back of the paper are normal, making every piece one of a kind.
