A place where time slows down, just a short ferry ride from the city.
This handmade monochrome linoprint captures a sky-high perspective of my beloved island. Lush jungle foliage spreads across the landscape, the sun setting behind the distant mountains. In the background, the three towers of the power station rise above the horizon. The winding paths and quiet homes below blend seamlessly into nature, where tropical birds call from the trees and life moves at its own unhurried pace.
Lamma is a world apart, peaceful and car-free, wrapped in greenery and the rhythm of slow living.

The printmaking process
This linoprint is created through a meticulous three-step handmade process:
- Sketching: Each illustration starts as a hand-drawn design
- Engraving: The image is carefully carved into a linoleum plate
- Printing: Ink is applied, and the design is hand-pressed onto paper
Because of this handmade process, slight variations and ink marks on the back of the paper are normal, making every piece one of a kind.
