A quiet force in the undergrowth.
This handmade monochrome linoprint shows a tiger emerging through dense foliage. Its gaze is steady, its presence still but powerful. Leaves part gently around it, as if the jungle itself is holding its breath.
I created this piece to mark the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese zodiac, and for those born under its sign. A symbol of courage, independence, and quiet strength.

The printmaking process
This linoprint is created through a meticulous three-step handmade process:
- Sketching: Each illustration starts as a hand-drawn design
- Engraving: The image is carefully carved into a linoleum plate
- Printing: Ink is applied, and the design is hand-pressed onto paper
Because of this handmade process, slight variations and ink marks on the back of the paper are normal, making every piece one of a kind.
